Hamza Abdelkarim has reached an agreement with the club to sign a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.
The La Liga champions have decided to reward the young Egyptian striker with the extension after his blistering summer performances for the club.
Abdelkarim's path is an example for young players at the club of the pathway to senior football.
Barcelona Agree New Contract With Hamza Abdelkarim Until 2030
The 18-year-old striker will formally sign the extension on Tuesday, September 15, in the office of club president Joan Laporta.
“FC Barcelona and the player Hamza Abdelkarim have reached an agreement to renew the Egyptian footballer’s contract until June 30, 2030.
"The signature of the renewal will be announced on Tuesday, September 15, at 5:00 p.m., in an event that will be held in the office of the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta," the official statement reads.
His new contract will reflect his status as a first-team player and will see his release clause raised from €15 million to €150 million.
The youngster has earned his extension just weeks after joining the club on a permanent, three-year deal earlier this summer.

Barca's particular emphasis on their youth ranks continues to provide top talents to represent the senior side.
The trio of Xavi Espart, Brian Farinas, and Abdelkarim have emerged as the greatest beneficiaries of this summer's pre-season training under Hansi Flick.
Abdelkarim originally joined the club on loan from Al-Ahly in January for the sole purpose of playing for Juvenil A and scored nine goals in six league games for the U-19 team.
His performance for the team was impressive and earned him a place in Egypt's squad to the FIFA World Cup this summer and a permanent deal with Barcelona until 2030.
Upon Egypt's elimination at the hands of Argentina in the Round of 16, the teenager returned to training and made himself available for the start of pre-season under Flick.
He underwent an intensive pre-season under the German tactician and quickly established himself as an option for the team this season, particularly after the exits of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.
Abdelkarim shone brightest among the young attackers on tour, and Flick took notice of his talent and quality, promoting him to the first-team. He scored four goals in pre-season, including one in the Joan Gamper Trophy clash against Al-Ahly.
The teenager has made the matchday squad for all five of his club's games this season, and was handed his debut as a late substitute in their 5-2 win over Rayo Vallecano.
With Barcelona set to compete in La Liga, the UEFA Champions League, Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup, Abdelkarim will hope to earn regular first-team minutes this season.
The Catalan giants have treated La Masia as a clear pipeline of talent for the first-team, and this approach from the club will not change in the near future.
